Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teasers : from Nicola Barker's Darkmans.
"How strange ",he said , turning just in time to see Beede's hand with-drawing from the womans hand(he had passed her an envelope. She placed it into her bag,her eyes meeting Kane's calmly.)
"What is ?" Beede asked ."The man who peered in through the window a moment ago.The man on the horse .He's changed." pg27

Musing Mondays

This week’s musing asks…

Can you read amidst distractions? (tv, others talking, sporting events, etc) .

hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading .

I can generally tune out background noise. The tv,others talking, sporting events don't really bother me.If it gets too noisy i'll go to my bedroom and read there.

I was on one occasion bothered by lack of noise! In school i couldn't concentrate in the student library because it was too quiet. Does that make sense? lol
