Musing Mondays {December 23rd 2013}

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
• Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
• Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
The most recent books I bought (in November) were about blogging . While I learnt a lot and they were very interesting .They were a bit over my head!
I'm looking for inspiration I guess . Kind of running out of ideas .
At the moment i'm not really doing a lot of reading , with holidays and a lot of family things coming up I'm not really in the mood for reading .This doesn't happen often .

Teaser Tuesdays {December 10th 2013}

My Teaser :

"In many great households satirical games are played at Christmas . Household roles are reversed .
Chief officers are forced to act as menial  servants for a short while , and a kitchen servant  might be set up as a steward or lord."    pg 253 The Time Travellers Guide To Medieval England by Ian Mortimer

My Teaser :

"A number of your favourite foods will not be available . There are no  potatoes or tomatoes , these come from lands yet to be discovered.For the same reason there are no turkeys ; your Christmas dish instead - if you can afford it - is likely to be a swan ,a goose, beef ,ham or bacon."
