1. I'm currently working my way through "The Sum Of All Men" by David Farland.

Very good read! Rather LOTR like,i'm enjoying it .

"About Ferrin—

Ferrin are small egg-laying mammals about the size of an opossum. Fierce hunters, they were brought to the lands of Rofehavan to control rat populations in castles. The Ferrin have a crude intelligence and can use some tools, such as primitive spears and pry bars. They are notorious scavengers, stealing food, buttons, coins, and cloth—anything that they think is pretty or valuable. By the time that people discovered that Ferrin were a greater nuisance than the rats they hunt, the ferrin population had spread out of control."

2. I've just finished "The Star's Tennis Balls" by Stephen Fry .

3. Next? I have "Making History" and "the Fry Chronicles" by Stephen Fry .

Q is for ?

Queen Phillipa of Hainault.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Philippa

Philippa of Hainault (24 June 1314 – 15 August 1369) was the Queen consort of King Edward III of England from her marriage on 24 January 1328 until her death at the age of 55, which was the result of an illness closely related to dropsy.

She acted as regent on several occasions when her husband was away from his kingdom, and she often accompanied him on his expeditions to Scotland, France, and her native Flanders. Philippa won much popularity with the English people for her kindness and compassion which was demonstrated in 1347 when she successfully persuaded King Edward to spare the lives of the Burghers of Calais. It was this popularity that helped maintain peace in England throughout Edward's long reign.

The eldest of her 14 children was Edward, the Black Prince, who was a renowned military leader.

The Queen's College, Oxford was founded in her honour.

Musing Mondays

This week’s musing asks…

What book tops your TBR (to be read) pile right now? Is it something you own, or something you have to borrow, or something you’ll be purchasing? Why do you want to read it so badly?

My TBR had been topped by To Defy A King EC , which i had to wait for the bookstore to reopen to get! I'll probably reread this a few times, i generally race through when i first get a book i've waited ages for.
Next on TBR is the third and last M.K Hume King Arthur, although if it doesn't appear i won't mind .The end of Warrior of the West would serve as a very good ending of the tale!
